Actor Channing Tatum morphed into the ultimate Swiftie as he accompanied his 10-year-old daughter Everly to Taylor Swift’s recent Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles. Clad in a DIY Anti-Hero shirt and glitter heart face paint, Tatum went all-out in fangirling for the pop superstar.
The Magic Mike star made sure to dress the part for Everly’s Swift concert experience at SoFi Stadium on August 5th. He sported a homemade tee reading “It’s me, hi, I’m the daddy” in reference to lyrics from Swift’s Anti-Hero track off her latest album Midnights.
Tatum also drew a large pink glitter heart around his right eye, paying homage to Swift’s Lover album cover art. Photos and videos showed the actor enthusiastically singing and dancing along as his daughter and her friends enjoyed the show.
Fans were delighted to catch a glimpse of Tatum in peak Swiftie form. His creative outfit and willingness to fully embrace the Swiftie culture as a dad quickly went viral online.
Tatum shares daughter Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, whom he split from in 2018 after nine years of marriage. The amicable co-parents have both moved on, with Tatum currently dating actress Zoë Kravitz.
In fact, Kravitz has a close friendship with Swift and even contributed to her Midnights album. So Tatum donning his crafty Swiftie gear indicates he’s equally supportive of his girlfriend’s pop star pal.
During Swift’s first of six shows at SoFi Stadium, Tatum was also spotted mingling with Gayle King and other celebrity fans in attendance. But the highlight was undoubtedly seeing the box office star belt out Shake It Off with pure joy as Everly watched her favorite singer in awe.
In interviews, Tatum has spoken candidly about learning to braid hair and other parenting skills to properly care for Everly after his divorce. His Swiftie makeover demonstrates the lengths he’ll go to bond with his little girl over one of her biggest idols.
Tatum even made sure Everly’s friends could join and have an unforgettable experience at the concert. His enthusiastic participation embodied the quintessential doting dad.
The iconic surprise Swiftie look garnered praise from fans delighted to see Tatum embracing his daughter’s interests. While Swift put on an epic performance, Tatum’s sweet gesture of dressing up stole the spotlight amongst concert-goers.
Channing Tatum has mastered the art of keeping his daughter’s childhood magical, even if that means glitter face paint and DIY tees to match her fandom. His willingness to fully commit as Everly’s ultimate Swiftie dad defined parent goals.
Between the father-daughter duet on Shake It Off and letting Everly’s friends join the fun, Tatum proved himself pop music’s MVP dad. If anyone can spark a new generation of Swifties, it’s this enthusiastic, costume-clad dad of the year.
